Making movies like the Muppet Christmas Carol and The Muppet Treasure Island was a big departure for us. For the first time , we had to portray characters other than ourselves. For me that meant going  back to acting school to prepare for my roles in these movies. I took classes in the Staninslavski Method, Meisner Training, the Alexander Technique, Brechtian Acting, and Method Acting before finally settling on that time-honored Muppet method of Over Acting.
